I've been a gun owner for 3 months now and somehow went from agonizing over my first purchase for months and months to owning three guns in no time. I'd shot my friends springfields before and was always "eh" on the experience but for me with sig it was different.
While I was never anti-gun, I used to question what was wrong with people, isn't one gun enough?!? My first gun was a s&w governor, which I still love but after a few weeks at the range with the over the top six shooter I started to yearn for a semi automatic which eventually led me to my sig p226 mk25 that I instantly became addicted to which led to my p239 SAS Gen 2, which I also love. Proud to say that I took the same friend to the range and let him use my sig and he's 100% converted and has already bought his first sig.
While I'm content for the time being, I know I'm not done. Sent from my i Phone using Tapatalk I have always been a fan but shot sparingly and never owned.
That is also where I fired a handgun for the first time (S&W .38 special revolver). Learning to properly use that tool, care for it and accomplish something with it is more just plain satisfying.
I attended an annual cadet academy at the NTC in San Diego 3 years in a row.
That was more experience in tactics and more training on accuracy.
They would take us to "Duffy's Town" for scenarios, it was a ton of fun.
I ended up deciding on not perusing a carrier in law enforcement, but the experience I had those years is something I'll never forget.
